Our goal is to build girls’ confidence, athleticism, leadership skills and relationships via the game of softball.

The Okemos Softball Club invites you to join our spring/summer softball program for 7-14 year olds living in the Okemos area or attending Okemos Public Schools.
|
We're a volunteer-based organization led by dedicated parents and supported by OHS softball as well as local businesses and organizations.

Coaching
Coach / Volunteer Interest Form
Team Coaches
3+ coaches are needed to efficiently lead a softball team. While baseball/softball knowledge, skills and experience are strongly desired of the Head Coach for each team, those with other coaching experience are also encouraged to volunteer.
Hitting Coach
The club has a volunteer hitting coach that will be working with all of our teams.
Pitching Coach
We are in the process of identifying a pitching coach.
OHS Softball Mentors
Partnership with OHS Softball players acting as mentors for the youth teams outside of the High School season.
Provides role models for the younger girls and supports the next generation of the high school program.

Volunteers are needed for a range of tasks large and small, ongoing and one time, on the field and off of the field
Examples of needs are administration, coaching, organizing fund-raisers, tournament info/coordination, field maintenance, photography, scheduling field use and referees, coordinating uniform purchases and uniform distribution, organizing tryouts, etc
